...............................................................................................................................

Working mainly in oils and watercolour, English artist   Andrew Wright is largely self-taught. His choice of subject matter is varied and includes landscape, wildlife and animals in general.
He has exhibited with   The Royal Society of Marine Artists   and   The Society of Wildlife Artists at The Mall Galleries in London, and his work is held in collections both in the UK and abroad.
Several articles featuring his work have been published in "The Artist" and "Leisure Painter" magazines.

"I like to be outside in quiet, peaceful places, walking with my dog and watching birds and wildlife. This is reflected in my paintings which often feature tranquil scenes on land and by water. When I paint animals and wildlife, I prefer to show them within their natural surroundings rather than as formal portraits.
I paint out of doors, when possible, using my "pochade box" to make small oil sketches. "
